BENEFITING SCHOOLS FOR HAITI
Schools for Haiti, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded by Bonnie and Gil Bailie from Tampa, Florida in 2006, opening the first school with 12 students. In the Fall of 2018, Schools for Haiti will support more than 2,000 students in 10 schools with a free, quality education and a nutritious meal every school day. In addition, we help support two orphanages.
We are happy to announce that construction has begun on our NEW self-sustaining $1.4 million Education Vision Center which will include an elementary school (K-6), a high school (7-13), a children’s infirmary, a children’s home, a kitchen, a community center with a culinary teaching kitchen, and a 14 room Mission House which will accommodate mission team groups.
It is our hope that more people will become involved and support our schools and help fund the new center. We firmly believe that we are making a difference in the lives of children, and they will make a difference in the future of Haiti.
